Explore Your Career Options at Job Fair in Constantia

Oswego County Workforce New York (OCWNY) heads to the north shore of Oneida Lake for its next job fair! Job seekers are invited to come out to David C. Webb Memorial Park, 851 NYS Rte. 49, Contantia, to learn more about local employment opportunities. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 25.
Job applicants will have the opportunity to meet with a variety of local employers and training institutions across many different industries. They can explore free employment and training services and learn more about resume assistance, online learning, funding options for training and more!
Information will also be available about Oswego Build, a pre-apprenticeship training pathway to local union trades, as well as ACT WorkKeys, an assessment to earn a National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC). A nationally recognized credential, NCRC demonstrates essential workplace skills in applied math, workplace documents and graphic literacy. It is highly valued by employers across multiple industries as a reliable measure of workplace readiness.

For those unable to attend, visit OCWNY’s career center at 200 N. Second St., Fulton, across from Mimi’s Drive-In, to check out the variety of services available to job seekers. The center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Appointments are not required.
